Shri Krishna Janmastami 2018

You are invited to join us to celebrate the Birth Of Shri Krishna on Monday 3rd September 2018 at ISKCON Coventry.

There will be a full day of celebrations starting with morning Abhishek of the deities from 6am, all day cooking of maha prasad followed by midday Darshan and arati.

The evening programme starting from Gaura Arati will consist of Krishna Katha, kirtans, DVD presentations and 2 dramas, ‘The Demons Vs Krishna’ by the Bal Gopal Club and ‘The Greatest Demon’ performed by the adults. There will be a maha midnight arati & kirtans welcoming the birth of Shri Krishna and everyone is invited to swing baby Krishna in His Jhulan after midnight!

Outside there will be a tent in the forecourt where a seated live TV broadcast will be shown along with Gaura Nitai Gifts shop stall selling devotional items, books and clothing.  Another tent will be in the garden area where you can sit and enjoy freshly hot made snacks from our very own Gauranga’s Café selling chips, burgers, snacks, cakes and more!
